Dr. Stephanie is from Yankton, SD. After graduating high school she attended South Dakota State University where she got her Bachelor's degree in Biology and graduated in 2002. She then attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN where she pursued her chiropractic degree. In November 2005 she graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She opened up Lane Family Chiropractic in January of 2007. She has an emphasis in family care and believes that everyone can benefit from chiropractic care.
While at Northwestern, Dr. Lane was active in Motion Palpation club and has attended many seminars focused on whiplash, extremity adjusting, kinesiotaping, and focused adjusting for each region of the spine. Dr. Lane is a member of the South Dakota Chiropractic Association and the Sioux Empire Chiropractic Society. Dr. Lane utilizes manual adjusting, but also has other resources when treating patients. She treats many conditions including headaches, joint pain, low back and neck pain. She is also a certified Chiropractic Acupuncturist.
In 2005, Dr. Lane was a member of the Sports Medicine team for the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk in Minneapolis, MN. This three day walk involved over 2,500 people who walked 20 miles each day raising money for breast cancer research. The sports medicine team adjusted walkers before, after, and at many pit stops throughout the walk. This free service kept the participants moving and ready for a full day of walking. Dr. Lane said that this event was a moving experience and the biggest highlight of her chiropractic career.
Dr. Lane engaged and is planning a 2010 wedding. Her hobbies include working out, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
